Who we are

Founded in 2001, Proflex, a division of M&B Engineering Ltd. and part of the M&B Group, has transformed the roofing industry in India by introducing the innovative Self-Supported Steel Roofing solution. This arch-shaped, multi-benefit American roofing technology, proven over the last 60 years and applied in over 60 countries, has set a new benchmark in the industry.
Proflex is the largest player for roofing solutions in the country with a market share of 75% in terms of revenue for manufacturing and installation of self-supported steel roofing solutions in India.
In its 23 years of operation, Proflex has installed over 15+million square meters of roofing, successfully executing more than 10,000 projects across India.  Proflex delivers complete roofing solutions, including conceptual designs, proven technology, structural load data, and full project management support. Additionally, we offer value-added products and services, including side and gable wall cladding, ventilators, skylights, and HVLS fans.

Chairman & Joint Managing Director

Mr. Chirag Patel is the Chairman and Joint Managing Director of our company. A visionary entrepreneur, he has set awe-inspiring examples within the industry. Holding a B.E. in Civil Engineering, he possesses exceptional industrial insight, impressive technical expertise, and extensive industry knowledge. Since joining the M&B Group in 1993, he has played a pivotal role in envisioning and executing numerous large-scale and renowned infrastructure projects. As the leader of M&B Engineering Ltd., Chirag Patel has made a lasting impact on the industry with his sharp engineering acumen.

Malav Patel

Joint Managing Director

Mr. Malav Patel is the Joint Managing Director of our company. His entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional vision have enabled the M&B Group to achieve groundbreaking advancements in the infrastructure and construction industry.
He joined the Group in 2000, shortly after earning his B.Sc. in Business Management from USA. Renowned for his innovative and transformative approaches to infrastructure management, Malav Patel is a pioneer in introducing the Self-Supported Steel Roofing System in India. His deep expertise in marketing and administration has helped the Group gain a competitive edge across various sectors.

Girish Patel

Whole Time Director

Mr. Girishbhai Patel is a Whole-time Director of our company. A hydraulic engineer from USA, he has made significant contributions to the M&B Group’s growth and development.
With over 40 years of hands-on experience within the company, Girish Patel has played a crucial role in giving the Group a competitive edge through his strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of various types of machinery. A skilled machinist with a keen eye for innovation and precision, he has led numerous major civil projects and has been instrumental in pioneering innovative approaches for sleeper and pole manufacturing plants.

Vipin Patel

Non Executive Director

Mr. Vipinbhai Patel is a Non-Executive Director of our company. Before joining the Group in 1980, he served as the Chief Internal Auditor at a nationally renowned textile mill. A B.Com graduate and an Inter CA, Vipin Patel's financial expertise and exceptional administrative acumen have played a vital role in establishing a comprehensive, 360-degree model of sustainability for the Group, including M&B Engineering Ltd.

Aditya Patel

Whole Time Director

Mr. Aditya Patel is a Whole-time Director of our company. He holds a B.E. and an MBA in Finance from USA. Before relocating to India, he gained valuable experience working with ING Fund of Hedge Funds in New York.
For the past 12 years, he has led the company’s Domestic and International Business Development efforts, playing a pivotal role in elevating Phenix to an international brand.

Mayur Satishbhai Patel

CEO

Mayur Satishbhai Patel is the Chief Executive Officer of our company and is responsible for managing the Proflex division. He has been associated with our company since February 1, 2003, initially serving as the Manager of Business Development. On February 1, 2006, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
He holds a diploma in Plastic Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Ahmedabad. Previously, he was associated with Upperex Netsolutions Private Limited and Gridcomp Software Private Limited as a Director and served as the Proprietor of Mayur Plastic.

Birva Chirag Patel is a Whole-time Director of our company, overseeing the commercial and compliance functions. She holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from H.L. Commerce College, Gujarat University, and is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
She has been associated with our company since November 1, 2008. Before joining us, she worked as a Deputy Manager at Adani Enterprises Limited.

Sonal Ambani

Independent Director

Sonal Vimal Ambani is an Independent Director of our company. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Commerce) degree from Gujarat University and has been associated with our company since April 2, 2024.
Previously, she served as Vice President at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and also held the position of Chairperson at FICCI FLO, Ahmedabad. In recognition of her contributions to society in the field of art (sculpture), she was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation by Times Power Women in 2019.

Birju Patel

Independent Director

Birju Maheshbhai Patel is an Independent Director of our company. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel University and has been associated with our company since June 1, 2019.
He was previously a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and is currently a member of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). In addition, he established his own firm, MEP Consulting Engineers, and serves as a Director on the board of our material subsidiary, Phenix Building Solutions Private Limited.

Independent Director

Hemant Ishwarlal Modi is an Independent Director of our company. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a master's degree in Science (Civil Engineering) from Rutgers State University. He has been associated with our company since April 2, 2024.
Previously, he served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director at JMC Projects (India) Limited (now amalgamated with Kalpataru Projects International Limited) and as a Director at Sai Consulting Engineers Private Limited.

Sanjay Shaileshbhai Majmudar is an Independent Director of our company. He holds bachelor's degree in Commerce and Law from Gujarat University. A Chartered Accountant, he is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He has been associated with our company since April 1, 2011. Additionally, he serves as the proprietor of Sanjay Majmudar & Associates and is a partner at Parikh & Majmudar.

Subir Kumar Das is an Independent Director of our company. He holds a master's degree in Science from Lucknow University and a master's degree in Management Studies from Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya. He is also an associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
He has been associated with our company since April 2, 2024. Previously, he served as an Advisor and Chief General Manager at Bank of Baroda.
